Aşkın Yücel Seçkin, graduated from the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Galatasaray University. He obtained his master’s degree by completing the Philosophy Master’s Program at the Institute of Social Sciences of Galatasaray University. He pursued his doctoral studies within the framework of a joint program between the same university and Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 and successfully completed the Philosophy Doctoral Program at the Institute of Social Sciences, Galatasaray University.
His research areas include contemporary philosophy, history of philosophy, ancient philosophy, systematic philosophy, logic, psychoanalysis, philosophy of history, and political philosophy. He maintains two distinct publication series titled “In Philosophy” and “Suggested Questions”. In addition to his articles published in various journals, he has authored three books: La division du travail dans l’histoire de la philosophie, Platon’un Devletinde Uzmanlaşma, and “Felsefe”de: Çevresel Adalet, Vatandaşlık, Aidiyet ve Özcülük.
